What are Staff Upsells?

me&u has partnered with Apple and Stripe to bring ‘Tap to Pay on iPhone’ to Crew. With this functionality, staff can take orders and payments from guests. i.e. they can ‘upsell’ items. You can learn all about this feature here. 

How to collect payments on Crew?

Once you've added items to the cart and have selected ‘Tap to Pay on iPhone', the Tap to Pay functionality will be kicked off so someone can pay via digital wallet, physical card or Apple Watch.

This screen can be flipped around so that guests have a more seamless experience when paying themselves.

Important Notes: 

• Apple Pay on iPhones and Google pay on Android devices offer the most seamless Tap to Pay experience. The chip reading technology is much faster and higher signal than a physical card.
• Guests can also pay using their physical card, however, they must hold it horizontally for at least 4 seconds.
