This automation will send an email to customers that haven't been to your venue in the last 90 days. This is useful for venues that have an established base of customers and would like to increase their volume of returning customers with a quick and friendly reminder.
- Once logged in to your account, select the + button and choose Create an automation
- Select Blank Automation
- In the right hand menu, select the arrow next to Triggers to expand the section.
- Scroll down until you see Day/Time and drag it into the Trigger area on the left side of the page
- Set up how often you'd like the automation to run. In the example below we've left it to the default options except for the time, which will be 10am. This means that the automation will check every day at 10am for eligible contacts. Select Save.
- Make sure the Criteria menu is expanded by clicking the arrow next to Criteria.
- Scroll down until you see Visit Field and drag it onto the Trigger Criteria/Action area.
- Select Last Booking Date, equals, and in the select a date field type in -90 days. Select Save.
- We also implement a second criteria, in case there is no data for the booking date. Drag Purchase Field to the Trigger Criteria/Action area under the No option.
- Select Last Transaction Date, equals and in the select a date field type in -90 days. Select Save.
- Make sure the Actions menu is expanded by clicking the arrow next to Actions.
- Drag Email over to the Trigger Criteria/Action area under both Yes options.
- Fill in the Subject, From email and From name
- Leave Reply to as blank, Frequency to Always send and make sure Ignore Opt-out status is unchecked.
- Select Add to existing folder and select an existing 'We Miss You' folder if one has been created. If not, select Create a new campaign folder and name it 'We Miss You' Reminders.
- Select Save.
- When completed your automation should look something like this:
- Select Save & Close.
