Contact fields allow you to store customised information about each contact, such as their birthday, membership type, or favourite venue. Adding new fields helps you tailor communications and segmentation for more personalised campaigns.

- Who can add a Contact Field: Account Owners or users with Custom Roles that include Create New Contact Fields permission
- If you don’t have access: You’ll only be able to view existing fields under Profile > Settings > Contact Fields
🔎 What is a Contact Field?
A Contact Field is a data point used to capture specific information about a contact. You can create new fields to track unique details relevant to your business.
💡 Why add a new Contact Field?
Adding custom fields allows you to:
- Capture data unique to your venue or brand
- Segment contacts for more targeted campaigns
- Improve personalisation in messages and automation
🕒 When to add a Contact Field
Add a new field when you need to record data that doesn’t fit within existing default fields (e.g. loyalty tier, membership start date).
⚙️ How to add a Contact Field
- Go to Profile > Settings > Contact Fields
- Click the ➕ plus icon in the top-right corner
- Select Add Field
- Enter a Field Name (e.g. “Favourite Drink”)
- Choose the Field Type (e.g. Text, Number, Date, True/False)
