What are multiple modifiers?
Multiple Modifiers allows guests to increment the number of modifiers they want to apply to their order. If enabled, the modifier will have a quantity stepper next to it. The price will change instantaneously as the quantity increases or decreases.
How the rules work
- Venues can set a max and min for each modifier added to a menu item in Manage.
- The quantity carries across to the cart, receipt, live orders, and orders and refunds in Manage
- A min or max quantity can be set for a modifier group
- If quantity is set to max one for a modifier or modifier group, we do not show the quantity stepper on the menu item

How to set up min and max modifiers
The feature is not turned ON by default but is available upon request. If you'd like to have it enabled, contact chat support for help.
- Go to Your Menu > Modifiers
- Click Edit on the modifier group you'd like guests to be able to select multiple quantities for
- Change Select Type to "Multiple" and hit Save
- Ensure the modifier options attached to the group have a blank Max Quantity field
- Click View your menu to check your changes have been applied

What if I want an option to only be selected once?
There may be scenarios where you'd like your customer to be able to select multiple options, but limit how many times they can each be selected. An example might be for removing ingredients from a dish where you'd only need your customer to select it once. In order to achieve this, follow these steps:
- Go to Your Menu > Modifiers and click Edit on the group
- Click Modifier options tab
- Click Edit on a modifier
- Ensure that the Max quantity set to 1
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 for every modifier in the list
- Click View menu to preview an item linked to the group to confirm it's working
