A Contact Field is a data point used to capture specific information about a contact. You can create new fields to track unique details relevant to your business.
Why add a new Contact Field?
Adding custom fields allows you to:
- Capture data unique to your venue or brand
- Segment contacts for more targeted campaigns
- Improve personalisation in messages and automation
When to add a Contact Field
Add a new field when you need to record data that doesn’t fit within existing default fields (e.g. loyalty tier, membership start date).
How to add a Contact Field
- Go to Profile > Settings > Contact Fields
- Click the ➕ plus icon in the top-right corner
- Select Add Field
- Enter a Field Name (e.g. “Favourite Drink”)
- Choose the Field Type (e.g. Text, Number, Date, True/False)
- Click Submit
