At some venues in the USA, me&u adds a platform fee to orders placed through me&u. It's a small, fixed amount based on your order amount, from $0.15 up to $2.90.
How much the fee is
The fee is charged once per order and never goes above $2.90.

The fee is based on your combined order amount, after any discounts and including any venue surcharges, service charges and your tip.
If you order from several vendors in one cart, for example at a food hall, you pay one fee based on your whole cart.
About the fee
The me&u platform fee is charged by me&u for using me&u to order and pay, not by the venue or vendor. It isn't a tip or a venue service charge. It shows as its own line in your cart and on your receipt.
Venue surcharges or service charges are set and kept by the venue, and show as their own line. For questions about these, ask the venue.

Is the fee charged per order or per visit?
Per order. If you place another order, the fee applies to that order too.
Will I get the fee back if my order is refunded?
If your order is refunded in full, the fee is refunded in full too. For a partial refund, contact the venue or reach out to us at support@meandu.com.
Can I remove the fee from my order?
No. The fee applies to orders placed through me&u at participating venues. If you'd rather not pay it, you can order directly with the venue's staff instead.
Why don't I see the fee at some venues?
The fee only applies at participating venues, and some venues choose to cover it for their guests.
