A step by step guide on how to apply for Stripe Connect
This article will walk you through applying for Stripe Connect within the Manage Platform. If you aren't sure what Stripe Connect is, please read our FAQ.
Finding the Application
- Log in to Manage (US1 for USA and EU1 for UK) and find your venue
- Click Reports & Payouts > Stripe Connect
- Select the country that your venue is based in
- Click Get Started
You will then be redirected to the Stripe website to fill out their registration form as a me&u partner.
Registering your Business
You will be asked to fill out information related to your business. This includes your company's business name, ABN (for Australia), your registered business address, phone number, industry and your Website.
Registering your Directors
After filling out your business details, you will be asked to register details of a director or significant stakeholder in your company. Stripe requires details of all owners, so ensure you have the legal name, email, job title, date of birth, address and phone number before proceeding.
Identity and Business Verification
After registering all the significant owners, you will be asked to provide identity verification for these people. Stripe has provided a list of documents that are deemed acceptable. Click here and select your country, and sort by either identity, address or company documents.
You will need to provide documents for the owners (eg. passport/license) as well as company registration documents (eg. ABN/ASIC registration).
Once you have submitted all these documents, click Agree & Submit.
If you need to pause and come back to this application later, click Save for Later at any point in the form and the information you've already entered will be saved.
