Whilst your staff stay focused on service, your guests can simply open, manage, and close their tab straight from their table — choosing to either pay as they go or pay at the end. 

What’s new?

Two ways for guests to pay: Pay at end & Pay as you go

• Pay at end: the tab owner sets a spend limit and me&u will place a pre‑authorisation hold for the tab limit set. Everyone orders against the tab and the owner settles the tab with one payment at the end.
  • Bills are settled automatically if not manually settled by customers within 3 hours of ordering.
• Pay as you go: the tab owner can set a spend limit and every order is charged to the card as they are placed.

The tab owner can easily share the tab with their guests via an invite link or QR code generated on their device for their tab.

For operators

New Group Tabs page in Manage

The new “Group Tabs” page lives in the left navigation bar of Manage. The page will show: 

• Tab owner by name
• Payment type (Pay at end or Pay as you go). 
• If a tab is open or closed
• Related orders linked to a tab
• Individual order invoices and the tab invoice
• Visibility on when a tab is reaching the set limit

For your customers

The tab owner can see who ordered what and track order spend. Tab owners can also increase or decrease the tab limit as needed. 

Please note: Increasing the limit on a pay at end tab may place another hold on the card.
