What are Live Dashboards?
Live Dashboards show in‑service performance with updates as transactions flow in. In Manage, these are tagged as Live Data.
Dashboards that update in real time:
- Daily Sales
- Daily Item Summary
- Live Payouts
What “live” means:
- Metrics recalculate continually as orders are placed, modified, or refunded
- Best for monitoring today’s performance, pacing, and operational decisions
-
Figures may shift slightly throughout the day as late events arrive
What are Next‑Day Dashboards?
All other Insights dashboards are processed once per day and are designed for accurate, day‑complete reporting rather than in‑service monitoring.
Update schedule:
- Data is organised by a trading day defined as 5:00 am to 5:00 am the following day
- The complete trading day becomes available from 10:00 am the following day
Example:
- The Tuesday trading day starts at 5:00 am Tuesday and ends at 5:00 am Wednesday
- Data for this Tuesday trading day is visible in Next‑Day dashboards from 10:00 am Wednesday
Choosing the right dashboard
Use Live Dashboards when you need to:
- Track today’s sales progress and pacing
- See item‑level momentum and respond to stock or staffing needs
- Monitor payouts as they occur
Use Next‑Day Dashboards when you need to:
- Report on completed trading days with reconciled totals
- Compare performance across days, weeks, venues, or segments
- Export or share figures for finance and leadership reviews
