A customer will receive a SMS notification every time they place an order for Pickup, Delivery, Counter pickup and In-venue delivery.
You may also update the messages being sent to the customers. These message fields are customisable according to your liking!
- Go to Orders > SMS Notifications.
- Update the text within the eg. 'Order accepted', 'Order being made', or 'Order ready' field if you are offering pickup.
- Click Save.
Pick-Up - you can ignore this section if you will not be offering this service
- The customer will receive an Order accepted SMS notification as soon as the order was placed. This is the first notification the customer will receive.
- The next steps will be important to notify the customer via SMS. To set the customer's expectations on how long the customer needs to wait before the order is ready. An Order being made notification will be sent. The venue must select Ready in... [number of minutes] Notify Customers
- The venue must select Ready Now when the order is ready to be picked up. An Order ready notification will be sent to the customer.
Counter Pickup - you can ignore this section if you will not be offering this service
- The customer will receive an Order accepted SMS notification as soon as the order was placed. This is the first notification the customer will receive.
- The next step is important to notify the customer via SMS. To set the customer's expectations on how long the customer needs to wait before the order is ready. An Order being made notification will be sent. The venue must select Ready in... [number of minutes] Notify Customers
- The venue must select Ready Now when the order is ready to be picked up in the counter. An Order ready notification will be sent to the customer.
