These settings are managed from the Order > Availability & Wait Time page

Managing availability
Availability settings allow you to easily manage which parts of your menu are available to order. These settings are at the Category and Section level
If you would like to change the availability for a specific menu item, please see Making items unavailable or hidden
1. From the Availability & Wait Times page, select the Categories and/or Sections you'd like to change.
Selecting a Category will automatically select all of the Sections inside
Use the arrows on the right-hand side to expand or collapse Categories to view all the Sections
2. Click Update status in the bottom right to open the status menu
3. Click Unavailable
4. Choose the duration for how long you would like to make the selected items unavailable; Until next service, Until end of day, or indefinitely (Does not clear)
5. If you are using Table Groups, you will have the option to make items unavailable for specific areas of your venue. Click the toggle to expand the options and select which Table Groups you want the items to be unavailable for
6. Click Confirm to save your changes. The Availability & Wait Times page will update to reflect the unavailability settings you have just set

To clear any settings, select the Categories & Sections you want to update, open the Update status menu, choose Available, and Confirm. This will remove any unavailability or wait times settings for the selected items

Managing wait times
Wait times help set expectations with guests if some parts of your menu will take longer to get to their table than others. It could be used temporarily - maybe things are a bit busier today? Or it could be used permanently - some items just take longer to make than others

1. From the Availability & Wait Times page, select the Categories and/or Sections you'd like to change
Selecting a Category will automatically select all of the Sections inside
Use the arrows on the right-hand side to expand or collapse Categories to view all the Sections
2. Click Update status in the bottom right to open the status menu
3. Click Wait time
4. Choose the wait time duration (what the guests will see), and how long you would like the wait time banners to display for

If you don't want to set a specific wait time, you can choose No estimate. This will show to the guests as Longer wait time
You can also select Custom for more granular wait times and clear after times
5. Click Confirm to save your changes. The Availability & Wait Times page will update to reflect wait time settings you have just set
