How to manage Dine-in orders
- Go to Orders > Live Orders.
- Click the Live Orders tab.
- New orders will automatically appear as cards with the appropriate sound and colour.
- The orders will automatically move to the Completed Orders tab once they have been accepted by the POS.
If your order turns red, it has been rejected by the POS and needs to be entered in manually. If you'd like to learn more about the Live Orders page, click here.
How to manage Pickup/Delivery orders
- Go to Orders > Live Orders.
- Click on the Live Orders tab.
- New orders will automatically appear as cards with the appropriate sound and colour.
- Click Ready in... to choose the time estimate for the order.
- Select the minutes required to prepare the order.
- Click Notify customer to send a confirmation text message to the customer.
- Alternatively, you can click Ready now to send an SMS to the customer confirming that the order is ready to go. Please keep in mind that you can only choose one or the other.
- Orders that are ready for pickup will automatically move to the Ready For Pickup tab.
- Once the order is fulfilled, click on the order card and click Completed to move it to the Completed Orders tab.
How to sort or filter the Live Orders view differently
You can customise your Live Order screen to show specific orders.
- Click on Live Orders > Custom Filters
- Select the Order Status criteria you want to show order with.
note: by default, these are “Pending”, “Accepted”, and “Ready for pickup”. - Select the Ordering Type criteria you want to show orders with.
note: by default, these are “Dine in”, “Pickup”, and “Delivery”.
- Select the grouping format for the orders. Orders can be grouped by the "Ordering Window start date & time", "Ordering Type option", "Table Number", or "POS status".
- Click Apply.
How to enable audio notifications
- Go to Orders > Live Orders.
- On the Live orders tab, you will see a purple box underneath asking if you would like to enable the audio notification. Just select 'Yes'. You will notice that it will disappear in a couple of minutes without action. For it to appear again, go to other pages in me&u 2.0 Manage and repeat the process of going to the Live Orders page.
