me&u reporting continues to evolve. Here are some ways you view and export your orders data. 📈🤓 Let’s take you through the various sections!

Sales Report

To access this report, navigate to Reports & Payouts > Sales Report

This section highlights your top-line figures such as revenue, tips, refunds, non-discounted price, delivery fees, average transaction, average customer, and total orders as per the selected timeline.

You can edit the timeline as per your requirement and there are quite a few quick filters available like past week / month/ 3 months. 

The report also has a graphical representation functionality which is quite useful to analyst your venue’s weekday-weekend or day of week pattern.

You can even download the export for this report which expands into item level data! The export would contain product name, type, menu item, menu category and many more fields which would aid if you’re analyzing your venue’s top selling menu item or upsell item!

See below what each term in the report means:

Revenue : Total sales including card surcharge, tax, tips and service charges, minus refunds and discounts.
Net Sales: Total sales including card surcharge and service charges, minus tax, tips, refunds and discounts.

Refunds: Total refunds processed through me&u

Card fees: Total payment fees

Deductions: Total deductions made for orders that have already been paid out. A deduction happens if we pay you for sales, then after we paid you a customer wanted a refund. You can process the refund, but we have already paid you for these sales so we take this refund amount off your next payout and it appears as a deduction in the payout report.

Payout Report

To access this report, navigate to Reports & Payouts > Payouts

This section highlights the total history of your payouts (when we paid you for the sales made in me&u). To learn more about payouts and when they happen visit our payouts help doc here

Processor fee : The amount charged by the payment provider (Stripe 2.9%)
Platform fee: me&u commission fee
Tips: Additional tips on top of the service charge

Total Fees: The combination of the processor fee and platform fee 

Item Summary Report

To access this report, navigate to Reports & Payouts > Item Summary

This section has a comprehensive summary of items sold by the venue in the selected timeframe. You can filter the data by Type (Item modifier/ menu item), Quantity, or Revenue as per your analysis. 

Table Spend Summary

To access this report, navigate to Reports & Payouts > Table Spend Summary

This section displays the total spend by your table numbers and you can filter it as per you choice of date range, past month, or past 3 months!

Top Customers Report

To access this report, navigate to Reports & Payouts > Top Customers

This section revolves around the customer, their contact and order information, and revenue generated by them respectively which is quite useful if one needs to analyze and focus on top-spending customers!
